The Jagdpanther is a great Tank Destroyer in Tank Maneuver. It has great offense, defense and mobility. It is second only to the Tiger in defense, but is superior to the Tiger in mobility. Plus you get two of the mighty Jagdpanthers in every game! Use them well.
Pieces can move after attacking if they have any mobility left and they survived the original attack.
In real life this Tank Destroyer could go 60 mph on a road, making it the fastest tracked vehicle of World War II. In the game it is slowed down so that all Tank Destroyers move up to 6 spaces per turn. The Hellcat had thin armor in real life and this is reflected in the game because it has a low defensive rating. It's offense is higher to compensate for its lower mobility (reality to game). All and all, a valuable piece that is vulnerable to attack and counter-attack.
The Wespe (W), Hummel (H) and M-40 (A) are described in detail and how they attack.
A great all-around Tank Destoyer. In the game it has a good offense, good defense, and great mobility. In real life, it had sloping armor and a powerful 75 mm anti-tank gun to go with good mobility. In the game, this middle of the road tank destroyer is great because it can deal with most armored vehicles offensively, and defensively it can stand up to the Puma Recon, which has great mobility.
Take a comprehensive look at some key pieces to know, especially at the end of the game.
A great Tank Destroyer in real life. It was very low to the ground, which made it hard for opponents to spot and allowed it to sneak up on opponents. In the game, it specializes in taking out opponent Hummels, Hellcats, Pumas, and Panzerjaeger IVs. If this unit takes a Sherman, it is a loss for you because the Hetzer is basically a Sherman with extra mobility in the game.
Go through four different scenarios on how to Recon in this interesting video.
A great piece in the game, by far your most powerful piece. Three times a game you can roll the dice. If you out roll your opponent, you can take a piece off the board. In real life the Stuka had twin 37 mm guns attached to the wings. A Stuka would dive on an opponent tank from behind and hit the thinnest armor on the tank above the engine. However, the Stuka was vulnerable to enemy fighter plane attack.
Amphibious Assaults can change the course of a game, use them wisely.
The mighty Tiger Tank! You only get one of these per game and it is your most powerful ground unit. It mirrors its real life capabilities. In real life it had a powerful 88mm gun, thick armor and good mobility. Knowing how to use this piece in Tank Maneuver can determine victory or defeat.
Learn about one of your last lines of defense in this fun game of strategy!
As your second most powerful tank in the game, this valuable piece is many times a dominant piece late in the game as other front line units have been captured. It's heavy armor and offense make it a force to be reckoned with.
Welcome to Tank Maneuver!
A heavily mass produced tank in the Second World War, the T-34 proved a war winner. In Tank Maneuver you get four of these units per game. They are useful in Amphibious Assaults and situations that require a good tank, but not a very valuable tank that would be risky to lose.
Learn about how to move your pieces on offense.
The weakest of the tanks at your disposal, you get four per game. The Sheman is useful as a decoy and even as an artillery hunter. I use Shermans as a covering unit for more powerful units such as the Tiger and Jagdpanthers.
